Episode 4: Champ

On the 4th episode of Legend, Samm is back at it with another home town story from her mom’s side of the aisle. Samm and Amy discuss the very cryptic cryptid, Champ.

In one of the biggest lakes of the United States a sea monster lurks just beneath the surface. Are you looking for a story with some drama? This one knocks it out of the water. No pun intended. Deep dive into the famous Mansi photograph and several theories as to what Champy really is. Is he a dinosaur or a thought-to-be extinct pod of whales, maybe a crocodile suits the image a little better for you? I think one thing we can all agree on is that P.T. Barnum was just as invested as Katy Elizabeth. Enjoy a personal story from Samm’s mom and the “what ifs” that come with this seemingly friendly creature that calls Lake Champlain its home.

If you are from Plattsburgh or Port Henry, New York, Burlington, Virginia, or Quebec, Canada and also grew up with Champ and have a story to share, whether it be your very own experience or a different theory of what he could actually be, we would love to hear from you!
