Ep 27: Cahawba, AL

Alabama! Home to the first rocket ever built, the world’s largest office chair and a lot of snails. But what else do they have? Ghost towns, lots of them. One in particular is the talk of our 27th episode where Amy tells Samm all about Cahawba (also spelled Cahaba).

This isn’t just the story of one ghost town, but two, one built right on top of the other. This land was just not meant to have people living on it. Every time you think things are going good your status as state capital gets taken or your newly built railroad gets acquisitioned by the Confederate Army. There is just no winning. Come learn the history of this area along with the tragedy that surrounds it and why that mix might just make it a perfect location for hauntings.
